Meet the cast of FFP’s porduction of “The Red Velvet Cake War”!


Aeryn Williams (as Gaynelle Verdeen Bodeen)  was last seen on the FFP stage as Randa Covington in The Savannah Sipping Society. Her recent FFP performances include The Addams Family (Morticia Addams), Daddy’s Dyin’: Who’s Got the Will? (Lurlene Turnover Rogers), and Anything Goes (Hope Harcourt). Recent directorial credits include Titanic the Musical, White Christmas, Life with Father, Miracle on 34th Street, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Bad Seed, and A Minister’s Wife. She looks forward to directing James and the Giant Peach this season.


Samantha Henry (as Peaches Verdeen Belrose) most recently appeared on the FFP stage as Kate McGowan in Titanic the Musical and as Irene Molloy in Hello, Dolly! Other favorite performances include White Christmas (Betty Haynes), Making God Laugh (Maddie), Daddy’s Dyin’: Who’s Got the Will? (Sara Lee Turnover), Company (Amy), A Minister’s Wife (Candida Morell), Nice Work If You Can Get It (Billie Bendix), Crimes of the Heart (Babe), The Last Five Years (Cathy), Titanic (Caroline Neville), and Jekyll and Hyde (Emma). Sam will be directing the upcoming FFP production, The Odd Couple.


Jordan Gottschalk (as Newt Blaylock ) is a familiar face at FFP who most recently portrayed Wallace Hartley in Titanic the Musical. Other favorite FFP roles include Bert in Mary Poppins, Toby Thompson in Blood Moon Memories, Lucas Beineke in The Addams Family, Dr. Sanderson in Harvey, and John in Life with Father. He also directed Hello, Dolly! and Check, Please (An Evening of One Acts) and looks forward to directing this season’s production of 9 to 5 the Musical.


Matthew Frost (as Sheriff Grover Lout) made his stage debut in FFP’s Hello, Dolly! and most recently played George Widener in Titanic the Musical. In addition to his work on stage, Matthew is active behind the scenes, including light and sound operation. He also recently appeared in The Star Theatre’s production of Cinderella.


Mariah Clawson (as Elsa Dowdall) Mariah’s FFP credits include Minnie Fay in Hello, Dolly, Stage Manager in It’s a Wonderful Life: A Radio Play and Madeleine Astor in Titanic the Musical.

Nikki Needles (as Jimmie Wyvette Verdeen) became involved at FFP by playing in the orchestra before appearing on stage in The Drowsy Chaperone. Other FFP credits include Angel Street (Nancy), Nunsense (Sr. Mary Leo), Harvey (Ruth Kelly, R.N.), White Christmas (Martha Watson), Murder on the Orient Express (Mary Debenham), Mary Poppins (Chimney Sweep, Ensemble), Out of Order (Pamela), Finding Home (Cellmate) and Titanic the Musical (Mrs. Eleanor Widener).
